Terms of Use
Please read these terms carefully before using AICU CERT Service.
1. Service Overview
AICU CERT Service ("the Service") provides C2PA-compatible digital content authentication. The Service allows users to verify and certify AI-generated and original content with verifiable provenance.
2. Important Disclaimer
Data Persistence Notice: Persistent storage of certified files on our servers requires ongoing funding through the AICU CERT Fund. If funding is depleted, data stored on infrastructure services may be lost or deleted depending on the hosting environment. However, the certification itself (C2PA manifest) is embedded directly in your file and will not disappear even if server-side data is removed.
Certificate Renewal Notice: Official C2PA certificates from recognized Certificate Authorities are expensive and require annual renewal. Certificate renewal for the following year will be performed on a best-effort basis after the previous year's AICU CERT Fund reaches its target goal. Certificate availability is subject to funding status.
We strongly recommend keeping local copies of all certified files. The embedded C2PA certification in your files remains valid regardless of server availability.
3. Prohibited Content
You must NOT upload any content that:
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content exploiting minors
- Is illegal in any jurisdiction where the web is accessible
- Violates the Railway Terms of Service which hosts our infrastructure
- Infringes on intellectual property rights without authorization
- Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or hate speech
- Constitutes harassment, defamation, or invasion of privacy
By uploading content, you pledge that your content does not violate these terms. Illegal content will be immediately deleted, and user information may be provided to law enforcement authorities upon request.
4. Creator Safety & Community Guidelines
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Actions that harm creator safety or security
- Content that inhibits human creativity or artistic expression
- Behavior that disturbs, harasses, or causes harm to others
- Actions that damage or disrupt the AICU ecosystem
- Misuse of the certification system to deceive or defraud
- Automated abuse or excessive API usage without authorization
5. Pricing & Certification
Certification pricing is as follows:
- Free Verification: Verify any file's C2PA manifest at no cost
- Public Certification: $1 USD - Your certified content appears in the public gallery
- Private Certification: $2 USD - Your certified content is not publicly listed
50% of all certification revenue goes to the AICU CERT Fund to support the ecosystem.
6. User Authentication
User authentication is performed via email address:
- No passwords are used - authentication is done via One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your email
- A 6-digit verification code is sent to your registered email address
- The code is valid for 10 minutes
- Your email address is used as your unique identifier
We do not store passwords. Your email address is the only credential required to access your account.
7. Data Storage & Cloudflare
Regarding data persistence and storage:
- Certified files are stored on Cloudflare R2 storage
- "Permanent storage" refers to persistence on Cloudflare infrastructure
- Service availability and data retention depend on Cloudflare's operational status
- AICU does not guarantee data availability in case of Cloudflare service disruption
Important: The C2PA certification embedded in your downloaded file remains valid regardless of server-side storage. Always keep local copies of your certified files.
8. User Accounts & Payments
Users who purchase certifications are linked to their payment information through Stripe. This association is used to:
- Attribute certified content to the purchasing user
- Enable content management and deletion requests
- Process refunds when applicable
- Comply with legal requirements when necessary

AICU CERTサービスをご利用になる前に、以下の規約をよくお読みください。
1. サービス概要
AICU CERTサービス（以下「本サービス」）は、C2PA規格と互換性のあるデジタルコンテンツ認証を提供します。本サービスにより、AI生成コンテンツおよびオリジナルコンテンツの検証と証明が可能です。
2. 重要な免責事項
データ永続性に関する注意： サーバー上での認証ファイルの永続保存には、AICU CERT基金を通じた継続的な資金が必要です。資金が枯渇した場合、ホスティング環境によっては、インフラサービス上に保存されたデータが失われるか削除される可能性があります。ただし、認証自体（C2PAマニフェスト）はファイルに直接埋め込まれているため、サーバー側のデータが削除されても消失することはありません。
証明書更新に関する注意： 認定認証局からのC2PA公式証明書は非常に高価であり、年次更新が必要です。翌年度の証明書更新は、前年度のAICU CERT基金が目標額を達成した後、実現可能な範囲で行われます。証明書の利用可否は基金の状況に依存します。
認証済みファイルのローカルコピーを保持することを強くお勧めします。ファイルに埋め込まれたC2PA認証は、サーバーの可用性に関係なく有効です。
3. 禁止コンテンツ
以下のコンテンツをアップロードしてはなりません：
- 児童性的虐待素材（CSAM）または未成年者を搾取するコンテンツ
- ウェブにアクセス可能なあらゆる法域において違法なコンテンツ
- 当サービスのインフラを提供するRailway利用規約に違反するコンテンツ
- 許可なく知的財産権を侵害するコンテンツ
- マルウェア、ウイルス、または悪意のあるコード
- 暴力、テロリズム、またはヘイトスピーチを助長するコンテンツ
- ハラスメント、名誉毀損、またはプライバシーの侵害に該当するコンテンツ
コンテンツをアップロードすることにより、あなたのコンテンツがこれらの規約に違反しないことを宣誓したものとみなされます。違法なコンテンツは直ちに削除され、ユーザー情報は当局からの要請に応じて法執行機関に提供される場合があります。
4. クリエイターの安全とコミュニティガイドライン
以下の行為は厳しく禁止されています：
- クリエイターの安全や安心を損なう行為
- 人間のクリエイティビティや芸術的表現を阻害するコンテンツ
- 他者を妨害、嫌がらせ、または害を与える行為
- AICUエコシステムを損傷または破壊する行為
- 認証システムを悪用して欺瞞や詐欺を行う行為
- 許可のない自動化された悪用または過度のAPI使用
5. 料金と認証
認証料金は以下の通りです：
- 無料検証： 任意のファイルのC2PAマニフェストを無料で検証
- 公開認証： 1ドル（USD） - 認証済みコンテンツが公開ギャラリーに表示されます
- 非公開認証： 2ドル（USD） - 認証済みコンテンツは公開されません
すべての認証収益の50%はエコシステムを支援するためにAICU CERT基金に充てられます。
6. ユーザー認証
ユーザー認証はメールアドレスにより行われます：
- パスワードは使用しません - メールに送信されるワンタイムパスワード（OTP）で認証します
- 登録されたメールアドレスに6桁の認証コードが送信されます
- 認証コードの有効期限は10分間です
- メールアドレスがあなたの一意の識別子として使用されます
パスワードは保存しません。アカウントへのアクセスに必要な認証情報はメールアドレスのみです。
7. データ保存とCloudflare
データの永続化と保存について：
- 認証済みファイルはCloudflare R2ストレージに保存されます
- 「永続化」とはCloudflareインフラ上での永続化を意味します
- サービスの可用性とデータ保持はCloudflareの運用状況に依存します
- Cloudflareサービスの障害時のデータ可用性について、AICUは保証しません
重要： ダウンロードしたファイルに埋め込まれたC2PA認証は、サーバー側のストレージとは無関係に有効です。認証済みファイルのローカルコピーを必ず保持してください。
8. ユーザーアカウントと支払い
認証を購入したユーザーは、Stripeを通じた支払い情報に紐付けられます。この関連付けは以下の目的で使用されます：
- 認証済みコンテンツを購入ユーザーに帰属させる
- コンテンツ管理および削除リクエストを可能にする
- 該当する場合の返金処理
- 必要に応じた法的要件への準拠
10. 法的情報・運営者
運営： AICU Japan 株式会社
実験的サービスについて： 本サービスは実験的サービスです。予告なくサービス内容の変更、停止の可能性があります。
